Setting Up Sick Pay on Payroll Software
Go to the Employees tab.
Select PTO.
Click Enable Sick Hours.
Choose your method:
Frontload: Add 40 (CA) or 48 (LA) hours at the start of the year.
Accrual: Use 0.03333 hours per hour worked
Set the maximum balance (80 CA / 72 LA)
Click Save
